Recruitment Process

Once you’ve identified a role you’re interested in, and you meet the qualifications, click the "Apply" button to start your application. You’ll be redirected to our candidate portal, Workday, and prompted to create an account. From there, you can complete the application.

Once your application has been submitted, our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and send you updates as soon as possible. Make sure to monitor the email address you used when you applied and don’t forget to check spam and junk folders. If you are not selected to go further to other stages, you will receive a rejection email informing you of this.

If your application matches the requirements of our vacancy, a member of the Talent Acquisition team will reach out to you to setup an initial call where they will share more information with you about the role and also get to ask you additional questions.

During this process, you will meet directly with the hiring manager responsible for the vacant position & possibly other team members. The interview process serves as an opportunity for the hiring manager to assess your qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. Expect questions related to your background, skills, and how you align with the company's values and objectives.

Congratulations! You've impressed our team throughout the interview process, and we're excited to extend you an offer to join our organization. At this stage, your recruiter will provide you with a formal offer. Once you've reviewed and accepted the offer, we'll work with you to finalize any remaining details and your onboarding stage will begin

Interview Prep & Tips

  • Make sure you have read the Job Description in detail and understand each point. Prepare questions to help you understand what is not written and/or what might not be clear for you.
  • You can always find more info about the person you will meet on LinkedIn and/or about other team members around the world.
  • Make sure you can talk/describe in detail your listed experiences. Talk about your most significant professional experience; Share relevant successes; Your ability to deal with ambiguity or evolve in a challenging environment; Define your communication, management and/or leadership skills.
  • Our interviews are competency-based interviews, so be prepared to give concrete examples with the STAR technique.
    S - Situation: What was the set-up of your role at the time.
    T - Task: What were your goals/objectives for this project/role.
    A - Action: What did you do, what was your personal contribution, your decisions etc.
    R - Results: What did you achieve.
  • During the interview, we will cover a lot, so when asked a question gather your thoughts and give a brief and clear answer.

CANDIDATE FAQS

If you cannot find a current role that fits your experience then you can sign-up for job alerts here.

All applications can be made on the Job Details page. You will be routed to Carrier’s Job Portal (Workday) where you will be required to create a profile and submit your application(s) there.

Carrier retains data in-line with local legislation. You will be informed when your data is due to be purged by Carrier. Any candidate who applies for a role with Carrier or creates a Candidate Profile can request for their data to be purged / deleted by Carrier at any point (via Workday).

We understand that once you have submitted a job application, you will be keen to know the status. Once your profile has been reviewed by a member of the Carrier team, we will contact you if you have been shortlisted further and they will keep you updated throughout the process. You can also check the status by logging into your candidate profile and viewing ‘My Submitted Applications’.
