Use your warehousing, material flow, inventory control, and problem solving skills to lead a team with inventory movement activities in the production and warehousing areas, and oversee sales orders needing to ship. An outstanding Materials Flow Lead should be dependable, possess a sense of urgency, and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily tasks for Material Attendants
- Prioritization of material movement tasks to support production lines
- Prioritization of sales orders to ship
- Execute daily 5S routines and maintain all 5S standards
- Perform daily, weekly, and yearly inventory control activities
- Cycle counting physical inventory
- Identify and analyze inventory discrepancies
- Performing inventory movement in JDE
- Engaged in problem solving in production and warehouse areas
- Communicating across multiple departments
- Work independently with little direct supervision to meet daily goals and drive business improvements
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in Production or Warehousing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent systems skills: MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in ERP/MRP systems
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems
- Strong working knowledge of production and warehouse operations
