About the role:

As the leader for the HR Technology organization (HRT) in India, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting the HRT systems strategy and roadmap for the organization. You will oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems, with a particular focus on Workday Human Capital applications. Managing a team in India, you will partner with HRT colleagues globally, Digital/IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of best-in-class HR technology solutions that support business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HRT colleagues globally and deliver the HR technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

  • Manage HRT team members in India. Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR technology services.

  • Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems.

  • Partner with HR leaders, Digital/IT teams, and external vendors to identify opportunities to improve HR technology solutions and processes.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors.

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure HR systems are integrated with other business systems as needed.

  • Manage HR technology budgets and timelines for India.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in HR technology with at least 5 years of experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices.

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale HR technology projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong vendor management skills.

  • Experience managing resources in a dotted-line, matrix relationship.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels within the organization.

  • Proficient in generating reports and data analysis to assist with decision-making and planning.

  • Comfortable with SDLC and Agile product delivery frameworks and tools such as JIRA.

Preferred Skills, it would be nice if you have:

  • Master's degree preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field.
