About the role

As RLC Service Engineer for Carrier, you will be responsible in developing sales leads, qualify prospects and make service sales calls.

Key Responsibilities:

As RLC Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Prepare quotation or proposals and follow up on service sales enquires (e.g. repair, maintenance contract, retrofit)
  • Lead negotiation at optimum profits levels.
  • Close orders to achieve the goals and targets assigned.
  • Responsible for payment collection.
  • Communicate and work together with Call Center on customers enquiries.
  • Manage existing customers and develop new customers, and understand customer’s business status, look for business opportunity and foster good customer relationship for service revenue growth.
  • Ability to understand and convey technical information effectively.
  • Maintain a sound technical / application knowledge base on all RLC + VRF products.
  • Responds to customer calls, develops appropriate documentation and response plan for resolution of issues and sends issue to appropriate level to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Uses technical knowledge to troubleshoots basic customer issues.
  • Performs data mining, gathers, and analyzes data to improve efficiency in products and technical services.
  • May resolve customer problems in a technical call center/service center environment or through customer escalation.
  • Provide professional proposal, offering and technical support in related to digitalized service & IoT solution to targeted customers in RLC + VRF segments.
  • Ability to collaborate with connectivity core team, back-end support and frontliners to achieve the business goals & deliver the last mile t customer.

Requirements:

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant experience in solution selling
  • HVAC background will be advantage
  • Scheduling and planning experience is advantageous.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Words & PowerPoint)
  • Strong customer focus, sense of urgency, good communication skills
  • Open to travelling and flexible working hours to accommodate customers
