About the role:

  • Work with data to solve business problems, building and maintaining the infrastructure to answer questions and improve processes

  • Help streamline our data science workflows, adding value to our product offerings and building out the customer lifecycle and retention models

  • Work closely with the data science and business intelligence teams to develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning

  • Be an advocate for best practices and continued learning

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing, constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable, enterprise level data management systems.

  • Ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data quality and reliability.

  • Collaborating with system architects, software architects, design analysts, and others to understand data needs.

  • Implementing data privacy policies and complying with data protection regulations.

  • Integrating new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.

  • Creating data tools for analytics and data team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leaders

  • Proven experience with data cleansing and implementing data quality processes.

  • Strong proficiency in managing data collection systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.

  • Ability to develop and maintain data models that support complex data analysis and prediction.

  • Knowledge of information categorization and visual presentation techniques to enhance data accessibility and understanding.

  • Expertise in Snowflake and AWS, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cloud data warehousing and computing solutions.

  • Experience with SAP and other ERP systems, showcasing the ability to integrate and leverage data from various enterprise resource planning systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to tie data together from disparate systems, ensuring cohesive and actionable insights.

Requirements

  •  Overall 5+ Years of experience in Data Engineering

  • 2+ Years Data Engineering (AWS, Snowflake, SAP)

  • 1+ Years experience in Manufacturing (Preferred)

  • 1+ Years Operations Experience (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer systems, Information Technology, Analytics, or related business area.
