About the role
In this role, you will join a fast-paced Human Resources team serving employees, managers and HR colleagues for the Americas region. We are looking for team members who enjoy leading teams who manage HR administrative processes and who have a strong interest in improving how HR delivers.A successful team leader will be energized by developing others, possess a strong customer focus and a keen interest in improving processes oriented to results providing solutions for complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Workday Transactions Team.
- Distribute responsibilities and monitor team workload and performance.
- Serve as escalation point for more complex HR processes, ensuring full resolution.
- Coach and develop team members in alignment with GPS goals and individual’s career aspirations.
- Provide training to current and new team members.
- Participate in creating a culture that energizes team members, fosters employee engagement and drives accountability.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring and retaining team members.
- Collaborate with other team leaders to implement actions which improve operational performance.
- Promote the development of the HR knowledge base to help employees, managers & HR business partners find answers via self-service.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to improve the customer experience and enhance efficiency.
- Provide input to the development of Workday & ServiceNow enhancements to improve employee experience.
- Lead efforts to document, simplify and standardize HR business processes.
- Assist with HR data migration and auditing during acquisitions.
- Research and work in a team environment to resolve employee issues by working directly with internal and external clients and vendors.
- Ensure data integrity through on-going audits.
- Utilize Case Mgmt System to document and escalate inquiries.
- Prioritize projects and activities and appropriately delegate and allocate work among team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- Bilingual/native proficiency in Spanish & English (written and verbal); limited proficiency in Portugueseis a plus.
- Supervisory experience providing inspirational leadership.
- Experience working with employees data in Workday system and employee life cycle processes.
- Great customer service. Know and amaze the customers.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Active listening and strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal and soft skills
- Collaborative; able to develop successful partnerships with customers and peers.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Demonstrated expertise with HR and case management systems (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow).
- Ability to assist others in understanding new processes and influence them to try new ways of working.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handling multiple priorities and reacting quickly to problems and issues.
- Experience documenting business processes in a visual format as well as writing detailed business process documents for reference.
- Experience leading business process improvement activities.
