About the role
As a Senior Manager, Supplier Risk & Performance, you will lead the development and execution of supplier risk and performance strategies across the enterprise. This role is critical in enabling proactive decision-making by leveraging data-driven insights, ensuring supplier resilience, and aligning cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and sustain operational continuity. You will play a key role in shaping supplier strategy, influencing business decisions, and driving measurable impact across the supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, Supplier Risk & Performance, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading and continuously refining supplier segmentation and risk scoring models using performance data, capacity insights, SIOP forecasts, and risk trends.
Owning the definition, governance, and continuous improvement of supplier performance KPIs, including OTD, SOTD, capacity adherence, throughput, and operational risk indicators.
Building and maintaining integrated digital dashboards to provide visibility into supplier performance and risk across Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, SIOP, Materials, and Engineering.
Developing forward-looking risk insights and scenario analyses aligned with demand planning, capacity constraints, and technology changes.
Establishing governance frameworks, including entry and exit criteria for Supplier Development engagement, and driving structured performance reviews and recovery plans.
Acting as the escalation point for critical supplier risks, ensuring alignment and resolution across cross-functional teams.
Partnering with SIOP, Demand Planning, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, and Quality to ensure alignment on supplier strategy and risk mitigation.
Translating complex analytics into clear, actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of analysts and performance specialists.
Influencing strategic sourcing and supplier development investment decisions through data-driven prioritization.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are analytical, strategic, and influential, with the ability to translate data into business impact and drive cross-functional alignment. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
8–12+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, supplier performance, or operations roles.
Strong experience in analytics, KPI governance, supplier segmentation, and performance management.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
Experience leading teams and driving performance in complex environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience with SIOP, capacity planning, and supplier operations.
Experience building dashboards or working with data visualization tools.
Exposure to global manufacturing or complex supply chain environments.
