As the Inside Sales Associate you will be responsible for partnering with field sales team to secure additional sales for the Carrier Commercial Service Organization.
This role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and looking to grow their sales career with a leading HVAC Service organization.
This role will be based in our San Leandro office, covering Northern CA.
Job responsibilities:
Sell and assist sales process; emphasize product features and select materials based on customer need, specifications, interests, demand, capabilities and limitations
Coordinate estimating processes; work with customer, sales teams, estimating and leadership to generate accurate pricing proposals for new and existing products
Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers
Work with sellers in your assigned market to build out comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
Provides high level of service to internal and external customers
Establish customer rapport and effective questioning techniques to identify the prospect’s needs, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and next steps
Utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop sales opportunities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 6 months of HVAC industry experience or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year of HVAC industry experience
Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of sales experience (can be fulfilled with an internship or part time roles)
Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives, and customer needs
Salesforce and SAP experience
Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities
Excellent communication, both written and oral
Able to build strong relationships across industries and functions

Pay Range:
