About This Role

The Strategic Channel Analyst will support the VP, Distribution & Business Development by providing strategic analysis and insights to enhance channel performance and drive business growth. This role requires a strong background in strategy analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of channel performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track channel performance and provide actionable insights to senior management.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop and implement channel strategies that align with overall business objectives.

• Build relationships between distributors and Carrier leadership to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity in customer relationships.

• Drive growth in core markets by developing a comprehensive Distribution roadmap.

• Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, national account customers, and channel partners to enhance distribution channels.

• Develop performance metrics and strategies to optimize channel performance and drive revenue growth.

• Partner cross-functionally to develop and implement effective distributor capabilities leveraging digital tools and platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 6+ years of experience in sales, analytics, or operations

• Ability to travel a minimum of 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Finance

• MBA or advanced degree preferred

• Proven experience in strategy analysis, preferably within a channel or distribution environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to senior management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Advanced skills with SAP

• Experience in the HVAC or related industry.

• Knowledge of CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and ROI analysis.

• Experience with analytics tools including BI, Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce.

• Proven ability to develop creative solutions to difficult questions.
