About the role
The main role of the Account Manager - Kidde Commercial will be to generate profitable sales in assigned territory or region within Spain, finding business development opportunities and product needs for Kidde Commercial as a leader in quality products, customer service and ethical business practices.
Also, develop new business from existing clients, actively seek new opportunities, and manage a portfolio of assigned customers. Achieve company targeted budget revenue and account receivables parameters. Provide commercial support and assistance to existing and prospect customers, suggesting new applications, adaptations, or modifications to existing product lines to solve specific customer system problems. Drive the “voice of the customer” into all aspects of the business.

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Engineering, Business or Economics
- Relevant experiencie in B2B Sales, ideally 5 - 10 years in the Fire Detection industry.
- Fluent in English and Spanish .
- Valid UE work permit.
- Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Experience in Fire detection systems would be an advantage.
- Preferably good knowledge about Fire detection rules
- Customer focused and great teamwork abilities
- Good communication and networking skills.
- Ability to build own credibility and develop effective relationships at all levels and work with competing demands in small multi-discipline teams.
Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Develop and maintain close customer relationship through programmes of regular scheduled contacts and visits.
- Maintain regular contact with local authorities, end users and approval agencies such as engineering, architecture, and consulting firms for specification of Kidde Commercial solutions and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of daily activities and results.
- Create and regularly maintain account plans for key customers, the sales pipeline associated with those accounts, and the resulting sales forecast.
- Negotiate prices within the established procedure to ensure profitable sales orders and assist in planning and developing short and long-term sales and marketing strategy within territory to achieve given turnover targets.
- Analyze customer and market needs as well as competitors’ products and sales strategies, reporting promptly new developments to management.
- Participate at trade shows and organize seminars and product promotions and facilitate specific and regular customer product training to ensure proper understanding of Kidde Commercial equipment.
