About the role

As the Service Engineer (Planner) for Carrier, you’ll be covering Johor region in servicing our clients. You will be supported by a team of technicians and you are required to champion the customer relationship and engagement process.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Service Engineer (Planner), you’ll be responsible:

  • To attend technical meetings at the customer site and provide solutions.
  • Drive the planning and execution of service jobs to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Assign technicians to service calls, ensuring clear communication of job requirements.
  • Ensure technicians receive work orders promptly and plan SA/SR jobs accordingly.
  • Create PM plans in Salesforce for chillers under SA contracts and ensure 100% PM completion each month.
  • Plan and schedule technicians efficiently for hotline calls.
  • Approve timesheets and technician expenses on time.
  • Plan and allocate service parts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to improve NPS scores and address issues promptly.
    To connect chillers to the Carrier Smart Service Platform, monitor Chiller performance, and generate reports to customers.
  • To prepare technical reports/chiller startup reports/ monthly comprehensive chiller reports to customers
  • To conduct chiller introduction and technical training for customers/ contractors and in-house technicians.
  • To attend to customers' complaints & provide prompt service to meet customer satisfaction.
  • To assist the Service Manager in handling operation-related matters.
  • Carry out EH&S responsibilities and job site inspection as required.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • Min 2 years of experience in service line
  • Has good customer service skills
  • Has understanding on air conditioning within HVAC field
  • Open to travel to Northern regions based on project needs
