About this role

Carrier’s facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, who manufactures residential gas furnaces, is recruiting 2nd ShiftProductionMaintenance Electrician to join the Manufacturing Engineering team.

The 2nd Shift Production Maintenance Electrician must know their way around a control cabinet, PLC systems, and a multimeter. Our Indianapolis furnace manufacturing plant is a unionized (voluntary) site, offering the kind of stability, competitive hourly pay, and benefits that skilled tradespeople deserve. We need fixers by nature. When a motor burns out or a circuit trips, you are the one who finds the root cause and gets the production line back online. We value reliability and grit; we need team members who come to work every day on time and take pride in keeping the facility running at peak performance.

We are looking for individuals with strong character. While we can train you on the technical specifics, we need industrial maintenance team members who are flexible, move with a sense of urgency, and can switch tasks on a dime. If you have a solid work ethic and a drive to master your craft in electrical maintenance and industrial automation, we will invest in your career with the best tools and training in the business.
