About the Role:

Carrier is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Corporate IT staff as Senior Developer – ServiceNow to support the enterprise wide IT Strategy.  

The role is responsible for overall design, mapping of client business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The role is required to work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify ServiceNow platform solution options, define ServiceNow solution requirements, determine and define integration requirements, develop overall architecture and review every production code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong hands on architect and designing capabilities. Must be able to independently propose, own the architecture, design solutions and execute proof of concept.

• Ability to engage customers and operation teams to resolve root cause issues in a positive, non-adversarial manner.

• Work closely with Customers to understand and translate their business and technical requirements, propose solutions to business problems and lead the technical delivery and implementation of the chosen solution.

• Fulfils technical design and ensures the highest standard of quality. Demonstrate proven leadership skills, be an independent performer and be able to deliver with minimal or no supervision.

• Provides technical design guidance to Carrier and business Stakeholders. Educates clients and negotiates the right technical solutions.

• Acts as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a program. Should be able to work independently and in agile manner.

• Should have strong integrations experience with best in clas architecture using integrations hub and other integration platforms.

• Design and document technical specifications, configurations and customizations for out of the box, new solutions and systems integrations

• Provide technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, capabilities

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to developers on platform-wide development solutions

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the overall platform and its performance Hands on expertise in Design, Development and Integrations of ServiceNow in Service Catalog, ITSM Modules, Reporting/Analytics, Application customization, Service Mapping.

Required Qualifications

• Overall 8-10 years in Service Now development and architecting.

• 5-7 years demonstrated experience architecting and configuring solutions in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CSM, Governance Risk & Compliance, HRSD and Agile modules

• Must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to design and implement per project schedule

• Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast moving environment

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs

• Must demonstrate critical thinking, solid judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering solutions that optimize architecture activities across the platform.

Education / Certifications

• ServiceNow Application Developer,

• Administration and Implementation Specialist Certification

• ITIL V4 Certification

• Any standard programming language certification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).  Master’s Degree a plus.
