Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Security DevOps Engineer to lead and implement advanced security practices across our DevOps ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in DevSecOps automation, cloud security, and compliance frameworks, with the ability to mentor teams and drive security-first culture with Agile mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• 6+ years of total experience and strong expertise in Product Cyber Security

• Implement DevSecOps strategy/principles across CI/CD pipelines including AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

• Automate security testing (SCA, SAST, DAST, container scanning) and integrate into build/deploy workflows.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure secure coding and deployment practices.

• Manage cloud security configurations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enforce best practices.

• Work directly with developers to shift security left and remediate findings early.

• Maintain and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security (Terraform, Ansible).

• Work with engineering teams to prioritize and remediate security findings.

• Strong Experience with security tools: SonarQube, Coverity, Blackduck.

• Experience in Embedded Product and Application Security

• Able to perform vulnerability scanning & patch automation through writing scripts for custom security checks and integrations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for system-level programming and performance-critical applications.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).

• Experience with security tools:

SAST (SonarQube, Coverity, Polaris) SCA (Black Duck, Snyk etc.,) DAST (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)

• Secrets scanning (GitHub Secret Scanning, Truffle Hog)

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

• Mentor and assist product development engineers with implementing and maintaining secure software design lifecycle (SSDLC)

• Diverse technical domain experience (ex., Embedded, Enterprise, Mobile, Cloud, etc.) added advantage.

• Good to have any security certification such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, Certified DevSecOps Professional.

OTHER COMPETENCIES:

• Candidate must conduct business in an ethical manner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with little supervision. Know how/where to get answers and overcomes obstacles.  Highly driven, strong communicator who is able to understand customer requirements and project goals, and is able to balance multiple priorities. Work in a team environment when required and produce results in a timely manner. Possess a positive attitude, show enthusiasm, take pride in the work, be results driven, keen to learn, creative and efficient.

• Knowledge of CI, CD automation will be an added advantage

Requirements:

B.E/B.Tech. /MCA/MBA or equivalent in Computer Science/IT/Management or related field preferred.

• Strong interpersonal skills.  Comfortable working with a diverse group of people and serve as arbitrator when conflicts arise.

• Domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: project management, cyber security, technology infrastructure, cloud computing, or application development, and capable of providing professional advice and guidance to stakeholders

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
