The Manager will drive process optimization, automation, and governance of master data with a strong focus on enabling strategic decisions in procurement, sourcing, and category management.

The role includes managing a team of specialists/analysts, leading cross-functional programs, and partnering with global procurement and supply chain leaders to deliver a scalable, digitally enabled master data ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership in Process Transformation

  • Define and own the roadmap for supply chain data and process transformation initiatives for procurement, sourcing, and category management.
  • Analyze existing end-to-end processes to identify structural improvement opportunities and drive strategic changes to improve cost, speed, and compliance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of specialists/analysts; allocate resources, prioritize work, and review deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Establish and standardize master data models and processes (supplier, item, contract, and related attributes) to support global procurement and sourcing.

Reporting, Governance, and Oversight

  • Lead the design and implementation of Power BI/Excel dashboards for executive-level analytics, insights, and business metrics across procurement and inbound supply chain.
  • Own the governance model for critical procurement metrics, including cadence, definitions, and alignment with finance and category teams.
  • Drive transformation and centralization of reporting with a strong focus on automation, data integrity, and auditability.
  • Own procurement master data quality KPIs and governance processes, ensuring consistency across systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and regions.

Advanced Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for global and regional procurement, category management, and sourcing leaders on master data and reporting topics.
  • Align transformation projects with business priorities; provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and impact.
  • Promote effective collaboration and communication across global teams; facilitate workshops and steering meetings to harmonize processes and standards.
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt standardized processes, data definitions, and tools, balancing global governance with local business needs.

Technical Competencies & Advanced Analytics

  • Oversee the use of Excel, ERP, Power BI, and other tools for scalable enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Lead advanced analytical initiatives such as spend segmentation, addressable vs. contracted spend, supplier consolidation opportunities, and cost benchmarking across suppliers/regions.
  • Sponsor and guide automation and system-integration efforts to reduce manual work and improve data reliability.
  • Champion digital and analytics innovation in supply chain reporting and master data (e.g., standardization, data quality rules, exception management, and workflow).

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 10+ years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing, with significant exposure to data/process transformation, procurement, sourcing, and category management.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and master data governance processes, especially for procurement.
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading complex projects or programs in a global environment.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement analytics, sourcing projects, category management, and procurement master data quality initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • High learning agility, accountability, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving transformation, simplifying complex data landscapes, and delivering measurable business impact.
