About the role
This position supervises entry to intermediate professional level employees or team leaders of technical / business support employees in Materials & Logistics, sets day-to-day goals, oversees materials management and logistics activities, audits inventory levels, trains direct reports, and reconciles discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible of the procurement for direct and indirect material
Responsible for the operation of the warehouse
Responsible of the procurement plan creation and execution
Guides materials management and logistics activities to ensure materials are effectively stocked and deployed.
Trains direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.
Implements and monitors inventory control systems to ensure effective logistics deployment.
Audits inventory levels to ensure availability of materials.
Troubleshoots and reconciles large discrepancies to ensure compliance of standards to ensure effective materials management and smooth logistics deployment.
Assure the operation continuity with the correct management of the procurement process
Assure the planning and execution of the procurement process
Requirements
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, or a related field.
· Language: Advanced English (essential for effective communication).
· Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership roles, managing teams of at least 5 people, in areas related to supply chain, purchasing, and warehousing.
· Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, graphs, filters).
Solid understanding of supply chain processes, from planning to distribution.
Experience in inventory management and process optimization.
