The role is part of Marioff (Carrier’s company) which is a manufacturer and supplier of fire-suppression systems for the industrial, machinery and manufacturing sectors. The company develops fire extinguishing systems and safety controls based on high-pressure, water-mist technology called HI-FOG for land and marine applications, helping clients to provide sustainable building and cold chain solutions.

Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating key relationships in EMEA and driving growth across this key vertical by identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels, meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships with them.

The BDM will liaise and work with colleagues to develop marketing strategies, prepare financial projections, attend events such as exhibitions and conferences, and prepare sales presentations and participate in sales meetings.

The BDM will also be responsible for producing reports for management to help develop our solution.

As aBusiness Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and nurturing key relationships with clients in EMEA region.
  • Developing and implementing new business development strategies to increase sales revenues.
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels and developing strategies accordingly.
  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships with them.
  • Liaising and working with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  • Preparing financial projections and sales targets to ensure profitability.
  • Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences to build relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings to articulate company offering and value proposition to clients.
  • Producing reports for management to help develop our solution.
  • Monitoring and keeping up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Translating customer needs into product development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Sales (business development) - ideally in fire suppression / fire detection or with focus on data centers
  • Proven track record of developing and driving sales and marketing strategies in EMEA.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of the EMEA market and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Interest in technology and product development

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Previous experience in working with Data Centers
