About the role

The Inside Sales Representative supports the sales organization by providing sales support to our Regional Sales Managers and resellers (VARs). That includes providing quotes for product sales to VARs and LenelS2 field sales, direct selling of products to VARs, promoting new product introductions to LenelS2 customers, communicating updates and/or changes to products, responding to routine sales leads from internal or external sources.

Area of Focus:

  • Outbound sales support to include VAR support through order and issue escalation management
  • Generate and issue of sales quotes related to products
  • 40% of calls will be outbound to customers with minimum call expectations set
  • Communicate Promotions, new product introductions or updates
  • Short-term sales initiatives/campaigns
  • Proactive selling initiatives/lead qualification


Candidate Profile

  • English spoken and written required and local language as a nice to have.
  • Strong communication skills – phone, verbal, written, presentations.
  • Comfortable giving presentations and demonstrations
  • Strong selling skills, process oriented, exceptionally organized.
  • Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
  • Technology orientated with some system design experience.
  • OnGuard Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 3+ years experience in a sales/marketing capacity
  • Experience in the Electronic Access Control industry preferred but not required.
  • Experience with complex CRM systems is a plus.

Typical Educational Requirements

  • AA/AS degree w/5–10+ years experience
  • BA/BS degree w/2–5+ years experience
  • MA/MS degree w/0–2+ years experience


Level of responsibility

  • Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline
  • Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus
  • Team orientated and can adapt quickly to changes in the market.
  • Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline.
  • Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role with ongoing development of specialized knowledge.
  • Up to 10% travel to support sales meetings, and campaigns.
