ABOUT THIS ROLE:


Carrier is looking for a dynamic individualwith a proven track record of excellence to join the Finance Transformation Management OfficeThis role will be a key team member providing strategic guidance in collaboration with our Finance and Digital teams to enhance and optimize our financial processes, systems and reporting capabilitiesThis position requires deep expertise and prior experience in large scale Finance and Digital transformations, process optimization, system implementations, change management, clear communication skills and a hands-on approach to execution.  

This leader will play a critical role in modernizing our financial processes and system to stay competitive in a rapidly changing business environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

  • Partner with other stakeholders to assess process and system capabilities to find opportunities for cost savings, productivity, process streamlining, simplification and improved user experience.

  • Collaborate with Finance and Digital leadership to develop a process and digital transformation roadmap for the short, mid and long term.

  • Collaborate with Finance and Digital leadership to define and align the investment portfolio including technology, ensuring all investments have a clear value proposition, and are aligned with sponsorship and long-term financial plans. 

  • In conjunction with the transformation roadmap, develop a strategic prioritization tool, business cases and tracking for the various transformation initiatives.

  • Drive the implementation of the transformation roadmap ensuring a focus on tools and processes that enhance efficiency, scalability and flexibility enabling the Finance team to meet growing demands and capabilities.

  • Ensure alignment with various ERP initiatives throughout the organization including change management leading to organizational readiness and successful adoption of new systems across Finance.

  • In collaboration with the Digital team, develop and implement our Finance Data strategy ensuring alignment with Digital Strategy.

  • Develop a strategy for finance process automation leveraging AI/ML models, while also exploring use cases for quick wins.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration or IT.

  • 15+ years’ experience in a combination of Accounting, and/or Finance, and IT and/or Digital.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 10+ years of experience utilizing, supporting, and enhancing SAP to deliver measurable value to the organization. 

  • Deep expertise with core Finance platforms like SAP S4, Central Finance and other consolidation and planning tools, and strong finance process background and expertise to optimize processes leveraging digital technology.

  • Proven leadership experience in a global enterprise, with a track record of developing and executing IT Strategy in alignment with business and/or functional objectives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner across all levels of the organization. 

  • Utilize robust understanding of Finance processes, system architecture, and master data needs to drive value through advanced analytics, and AI/ML models.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, function, segments, and business units.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs, ensuring deliverables, budgets, resource allocation, and timeline adherence.

  • Expertise in aligning finance and digital functions with broader business goals, ensuring that transformation initiatives drive tangible improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and strategic decision-making.

  • Strong collaboration, conflict resolution, and communication skills, especially in complex organizational settings.

  • Solid understanding of emerging technologies, digital trends, and their impact on business and functional operations. 

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
