Chubb now has an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer in Hampshire. The main goal of this role is to carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection and repairs of fire alarms, voice alarms, aspirating smoke detection, leak detection and public address systems

What will I be doing as a Fire Alarm Engineer?

• To ensure that service work is carried out on a monthly basis and in line with customer requirements
• To ensure effective work planning and timely communication with customers.
• To ensure efficiency and productivity objectives are met for each job in line with customer requirements
• To issue relevant documentation to the customer on completion of the works
• During normal day to day activities identify and follow through any additional sales opportunities. 
• Complete all appropriate documentation and records in a timely fashion to the required standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Experience of and proven track record in the fire engineer environment – preferably FIA Level 1 trained
• Have experience of Analogue Addressable Fire Alarm Systems

  • Kentec
  • Gent

• Able to work out of hours and cover call out on an ad-hoc basis

• Able to lead from the front with a visible ‘can do’ attitude.
• Self-motivated and able to work without full supervision
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
