About the role

The role is part of Carrier Transicold which helps improve transport and shipping of temperature-controlled cargoes with a complete line of equipment and services for refrigerated transport and cold chain visibility. For more than 50 years, Carrier Transicold has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with advanced, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units, and trailer refrigeration systems.

AContracts Technical Controllerwill be responsible for processing, validating, and reporting on OEM Factory Warranty & Repair & MaintenanceContract claims while working closely with Authorised Service Partners and maintaining accuracy in documentation.

As a Contracts Technical Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing all repair claim types within the agreed timescales ensuring all required documentation is correct and attached to the claim.
  • Validation for scheduled claims that the correct service & maintenance activity has been carried out based on unit history & customer requirements.
  • Ensuring all claim lines have been submitted with the correct repair tasks codes & parts (if required)
  • Ensuring Running Hours & Odometer readings recorded on claims fall in line with previous repairs for that unit.
  • Producing internal & external reports as defined & required, e.g. refrigerant usage, customer recharges, unit analysis.
  • Collating required information & produce PowerPoint presentation for customer reviews.
  • Liaising with Authorised Service Partners to discuss and resolve current issues around claim submission.
  • Assisting business (where required) in providing information & reports for internal teams or Customers.
  • Developing your knowledge on Carrier Transicold products through self-training and Carrier Transicold training courses
  • Developing an effective & productive working relationship with other team members and Depts.

To be successful in the role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in Refrigeration industry, ideally Transport Refrigeration or sound technical understanding of refrigeration equipment from an allied trade.
  • Administrative / Customer Service experience will be beneficial.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft packages Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Data validation & reporting skills.
