Key Responsibilities

  • Form bolt kits for units based on the pick list and bill of materials
  • Validate that kits are correct in terms of part numbers and quantities
  • Deliver bolt kits to work areas in a timely manner, according to production schedule
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, which includes bolt storage and point of usage
  • Conduct counts of bolt inventory as needed
  • Report to department supervisor of any additional needs of handling equipment or storage space
  • Communicate constantly with supervisor and cell Technicians to ensure there are no disruptions to production due to bolt kits
  • Flex to other work areas in the factory as needed. Additional work areas to flex include but are not limited to:

                          - Water jet for insulation cutter

                          - ESAB

                          - Tubing

  • Communicate to Material Planner to ensure proper inventory levels of bolts and to avoid unplanned outages
  • Work in communication with Logistics team as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience driving a forklift
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Basic PC knowledge Microsoft excel, Word.
  • Must be able to follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.
  • Ability to work with multiple priorities of the business.

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
