The Carrier team is looking for a Commodity Management & Sourcing Intern for our Spring 2025 Cohort from January 2025 – April 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Strategy Development: Support category strategy for Aftermarket parts, aligned with the organization's overall procurement and business objectives.

  • Supplier Management: Coordinate supplier identification, evaluation, selection, localization, and relationship activities.

  • Cost Optimization: Evaluate cost reduction initiatives and continuously monitor market dynamics to capitalize on cost-saving opportunities within the Aftermarket parts HVAC category without compromising quality.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, WHQ Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Development, and Operations, to understand their requirements and ensure alignment between procurement and business objectives.

  • Supplier Performance Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers, evaluate their performance regularly, and work collaboratively to address any performance issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and/or Business

  • 3.0 or higher GPA

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly proficient in Excel

  • Sourcing /Supply Chain for Aftermarket

  • ERP system experience including SAP and Power BI for reporting and analytics
