Carrier’s Lynx digital platform, developed in collaboration with AWS, will apply advanced IoT, machine learning and analytics technology to connect the cold chain in the cloud, automate key processes and deliver real-time visibility and insights throughout the cargo’s journey. Lynx will help Carrier customers to optimize cold chain operations, decrease energy use and enhance outcomes with reduced costs, delays, cargo loss and spoilage in transit.

About this role

As a Senior Manager Digital Product Management at Lynx Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting market opportunities, including “go-to market” strategy, driving customer immersion, customer requirements, and overall product strategy, roadmap, and vision.  You will partner closely with the development organization to deliver the product to market. 

This is a remote role based out of Massachusetts USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create visions and strategies for IoT and/or SaaS products; identify forward-thinking opportunities
  • Establish and lead cases for change, visions, strategies, roadmaps and business models
  • Deliver customer-data-centric strategies that drive revenue, conversion, engagement and retention
  • Assess market segments of interest and analyze competitive landscape
  • Identify problem statement(s) and address that need in the market
  • Assess revenue and growth markets for products
  • Build product roadmaps
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and ensure strategies will be effective in the markets
  • Get consensus from leaders and stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-business sharing of opportunities and best practices
  • Build and enhance important internal and external relationships
  • Define strategic opportunities for large-scale product partnerships/alliances with external/internal parties/vendors
  • Develop “go-to-market” strategies to take products from ideation to scale

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of professional work experience in digital product management
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management
  • 2 + years of experience building solutions on private and/or public cloud environments 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering
  • Experience in transportation and logistics i.e. Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Program management skills to lead cross-functional teams
  • Understand strategic direction of the function within the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in expertise
  • English communication skills to influence a wide range of audiences
  • Familiar with product lifecycle management, software development lifecycle
  • Follow Agile development philosophies i.e. SCRUM, SAFe
