ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve revenue goals and other sales metrics by: 
    • Outbound calling/meetings from qualified lead lists as well as self-identified prospects (trade shows, conferences, etc.)
    • Responding to inbound leads from current client referrals, marketing generated campaigns, web searches, etc. 
    • Developing relationships with referring third parties: brokers, consultants, other vendors, etc. 
  • Effectively manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle and track activities. 
  • Aggressively prospect, network and pre-qualify opportunities to maximize sales productivity. 
  • Accountable for generating a significant and consistent stream of new business revenue for the company by successfully selling our company’s value proposition to new clients 
  • In charge of the overall client relationship from inception to contract implementation. 
  • Ensures that all of the client’s needs and expectations are met. 
  • Responsible for meeting established new business revenue and client retention goals. 
  • Provide written proposals and quotes to prospective clients

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Post-Graduate or Bachelor’s degree with honors
  • 10-15 years of direct sales & account management experience with individual sales quota/target, i.e. Business-2-Business
  • Experience in selling both products and services – preferably in life science cold chain logistics & supply chain industry
  • Ability to travel at least 60% of the time
  • Ability to communicate well in English, Hindi and other regional languages   
  • Ability to work as part of a team within the assigned group and cross-functionally
  • Ability to articulate technical presentations and product demonstrations to a wide spectrum of an audience including senior management & technical customers/prospects.  
  • Ability to influence others and act as a change agent in the organization.
  • Ability to perform research, analyze data and draw conclusions.
  • Independent worker with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills
  • Demonstrates a strong technical aptitude coupled with a focus on customers. 
  • Proven records of managing successful sales team required & a minimum of a 90% forecast achievement
  • Excellent track records of selling in the relevant industries
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of the cold chain, supply chain and logistics in domestic shipments & exports
  • Familiarity with India’s and International pharmaceutical regulations – FDA’s & EU’s GDP & GMP etc.
  • This position may be based in any major cities in India; New Delhi or Mumbai (preferably)
  • Previous experience working for a multi-national company an advantage
  • Competently using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SalesForce etc.

  • Engage in new business development, planning, execution and customer focused activities
  • Be the trusted cold chain resource to the customer and develop expertise in Sensitech's real-time IoT technologies & solutions
  • Embrace & utilize Salesforce as a tool - Sales activity input, customer review & visibility
  • Understanding cold chain & refrigeration trends, Carrier corporate policies and the importance of self-learning and gaining knowledge through customer engagements.
  • Become Knowledgeable of the competitors operating in the territory/region
