About This Role:

We are looking for a Process Quality Engineer to support our manufacturing facility in Athens, GA. You will be responsible for the overall process quality for a product from our facility, with a focus on product & process reliability. The PQE partners with Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing functions to continuously improve the performance of product and processes.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for assuring that the manufacturing process output quality level continues to have year over year improvement of CE PPM, FPY, SCRAP metrics.

  • Conducts Process and internal ISO audits.

  • Daily plant manufacturing support for defect resolution, run test related failures and the management of non-conforming material.

  • Investigates and escalates supplier-related manufacturing issues working closely with Supplier Quality Engineering counterparts. 

  • Lead cross functional team for improvement projects regarding product first pass yield, assembly turn backs and field claims.   

  • Be involved in addressing field complaints working.

  • Responsible for monthly reporting duties.

  • Observe and implement product and process quality improvements.

  • Other Duties as assigned by the manager.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Quality Engineer (preferred)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.  

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  

  • Self-driven and proactive.  

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.  

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects.
