About this role

This position manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Planning, oversees production planning process, facilitates planning improvement activities, modifies planning parameters for raw material, ensure inventory goal are set and achieved, and escalates supply risks to ensure reliability of materials delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes key elements of Supply Chain plans in terms of operations, specific interventions, related costs and timelines, in line with organizational strategy.
  • Manages implementation of systems and processes in support of Supply Chain strategy.
  • Collaborates with channel partners, including suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers.
  • Gathers inputs on prices of different raw materials from primary and secondary sources. Supports identification of opportunities for outsourcing and cost reduction.
  • Implements guidelines on contract development.
  • Guides others on adherence to import, export, and excise regulation as per compliance

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Ability to identify and manage metrics on team's effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
  • Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
