Commercial HVAC Service Account Manager

As the Commercial Service Account Manager you will be responsible for pursuing opportunities for service agreements and projects to help keep our customers operating efficiently, and pursuing larger opportunities that help our customers modernize their HVAC systems and improve operating efficiency.

This role is a great fit for you excel at building relationships, have outstanding customer service and love working with cross-functional teams. This is the ideal role for those that are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)
  • Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans  
  • Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities
  • Promote Carrier value propositions linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline

Desired Capabilities:

  • Experienced in attracting, identify, and qualify new customers as well as building share value with existing customers
  • Ability to seek out and qualify new service agreement opportunities both with existing customers and new prospects
  • Ability to develop and propose technical repair opportunities
  • Ability to learn Carrier products/solutions and present them with credibility
  • Strength in developing and building effective customer relationships
  • Ability to articulate the value of Carrier offerings  and how they map to the customer needs
  • Ability to identify Customer’s purchasing processes and adapt selling style to match
  • Highly effective presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple schedule demands and prioritize for best outcomes
  • Bias toward customer service and fast response to customer requests
  • Ability to consistently achieve sales performance metrics and annual sales targets
  • Effective negotiation of service agreement renewals when required

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of B2B technical sales experience
  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Must be able lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and be comfortable working on roofs / platforms
  • Ability to pass a MVR background check
  • Ability to travel up to 80% within in assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software.
  • Ideal candidate will be located in the greater Puget Sound area.
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to sell directly to end user customer
  • Previous experience in selling service agreements
  • Demonstrates ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers
  • Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair / upgrade packages
  • Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities

    Pay Range:

    $92,856 - $130,206 Annually
