About this role

The Supplier Performance Specialist supports the engineered components category team with supplier risk analytics, business cases and leadership presentations. This is a growth opportunity and will work directly with the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing.

This opportunity is located at Carrier’s HQ in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains dashboard for spend under contract

• Supports financial analysis for category strategies

• Maintains models for critical MPF commodities impacting engineering components

• Review supplier financial health dashboard for publicly available data and inputs the same for resiliency categorization and supplier segmentation.

• Review strategy which optimizes affordability, availability, agility, and innovation. Leverage understanding of Technical industry, sourcing concepts, and lean tools to ensure parts delivered on time at best cost and quality.

• Knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in supply chain or finance or 1+ year of experience in supply chain or finance and a Master’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM)

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Experience with strategic sourcing and lean tools

• Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data

• Strong knowledge of supply chain strategy (development and execution) and category specific experience

• Independently driven problem solver with appetite to address complex challenges in a fast-moving environment

• Proven track record of successful leadership, negotiation, and strategic communication

• Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization
