As a Sales Engineer/Regional Account Manager or Key Account Manager North America, the candidate's primary task is to develop business with end users and their associated partners (installers, contractors and engineering bureaus) and grow the sales of CO2 mechanical refrigeration equipment across the commercial markets (food retail, c-store, HORECA, forecourts, etc.
The function involves the sale of, promotion and advising customers with the selection of equipment for their specific projects, whilst building a strong network across their organizations to ensure that Carrier is the preferred choice for refrigeration mechanical systems.
The candidate's task will be to develop a strong pipeline across their client base and close those opportunities to secure the company's leading market position.
As a key member of the North American CO2 sales team, the position reports to the North American Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Account development and account management
- High levels of sales activity with end users, contractors and consultants working within the commercial market area
- Assisting customers with the selection of equipment for their projects, alongside the pre-sales application team
- Ability to communicate across a level of commercial tiers
- Calculation of energy and lifecycle analysis to support sales and specification of Carrier solutions
- Pipeline management and follow up
- Proactive approach to the market
- Ideal candidate should reside close to major airport
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1+ years of experience in new business development.
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales.
- Must be able to travel 70% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Key Account experience and strong network management skills
- Challengermindset
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering
- Sales hunting mentality
- Extensive knowledge of the commercial refrigeration industry within North America
- Experienced in management and updating of sales pipeline
- Has experiences of working with tools like Salesforce or similar
- Knowledge of digital tools suitable for sales such as LinkedIn, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint
