About the role
As the Project/Technical Coordinator for Carrier, you will be supporting the Project Manager and Supply Chain Manager in all phases of the project preparations and executions, while also communicating with our suppliers and internal/external team. Your knowledge and experience will help us in dealing with project coordination, back-office support – in a timely and successful manner.
We are looking for people who are self-motivated, proactive and detail oriented, while having the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once by focusing on one task while keeping track of others. If this is you, get in touch.
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- High School Diploma
- Computer skills (MS Office programs, especially Excel)
- English language knowledge (written and spoken)
- Strong Communication skills, being able to work in a team, adaptability
- Familiarity with the preparation of project related technical documentation
- Results driven and proactive, confident personality, willingness to learn
Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:
- German language knowledge
- AutoCAD knowledge
- Experience in refrigeration or HVAC field
- Experience in the support of technical project execution, warehouse operations and procurement of equipment and material
Responsibilities
As a Project/Technical Coordinator (m/f/d) you’ll be responsible for:
- Support Project Manager with project coordination during all execution phases
- Coordination of unloading and delivery of equipment and materials to project site, tracking of used material, as well as entry in the register
- Support Supply Chain Manager with warehouse operations, visits to the warehouse and daily communication with warehousing subcontractor, optimization of warehouse activities, inventory tracking and KPI reporting
- Preparation of refrigeration system P&IDs, schematics, general arrangement drawings, based on the customer requirements and Project Manager instructions
- Preparation bill of quantities and material list necessary for project execution
- Configuration and ordering of refrigeration equipment in specialized software tools
- Procurement of equipment and material, communication with both external and internal suppliers
- Use of company tools for inventory management
- Organization of transport from both foreign and domestic suppliers, ensuring timely delivery to the project site
- Follow-up the claims and reporting through company warranty issues tracking system
- Preparation of project documentation for handover to the Service/After Sales department
- Further tasks by direct supervisor
