About this role
Lead the charge in revolutionizing comfort experiences through connected technology. Carrier, the global leader in healthy, safe, and sustainable building solutions, seeks a visionary Director of Connected Products to join our HVAC Americas team. This impactful role will see you spearhead the strategic direction of our connected platforms, driving innovation and exceeding customer expectations in the Commercial, Residential, Light Commercial, and Ductless segments. This role will be the digital lead for the following P&Ls: RES, LCML, VRF/DLS, and Viessmann AMER.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Lead is the liaison between IT and the business. The Digital Lead has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the business. He/she is responsible to understand the business, identify their needs and envisage business solutions.
The Digital Lead will assist in the prioritization of projects; ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and direct IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills / interpersonal skills: report writing, record keeping, presentations and meeting management,
- Able to influence and engender collaboration in both Business and IT,
- Subject matter expertise relevant to assigned business area,
- Good understanding of the use of information technology in a strategic context as a means to an end,
- Good project management skills,
- Ability to express complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner but also to effectively translate business needs to the technology teams.
- Numerate and logical in approach to work,
- Attention to detail and excellent analytic skills,
- Well organized and able to work on own initiative: organized, good time management, able to prioritize effectively,
- Knowledgeable about the process supported by the system and internal procedures,
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree
- 12 years of IT management and leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- Masters’ Degree
- 10 years of IT management and leadership experience

Pay Range:
