About the role

Sells products and services typically via phone or online orders (with quotas and/or productivity needs). Assists with theproposal generation process and manages agreement renewals and product upgrades for assigned accounts. Generates leadsthrough placing phone calls to lists of potential customers and handles 3rd party component sales. Responds to routine salesleads from sales engineers, sales reps or managers. Sells products and/or services to commercial firms; calls on customers;demonstrates products; prepares forms and sales paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (specify role), you’llbe responsible for:

  • Manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical / Business Support or

  • Production / Maintenance employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives andapproaches to completing work).

  • Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.

  • Problems faced may be difficult, but typically are not complex.

  • Explains policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Supervises the activities of the staff under their responsibility, setting priorities, providing guidelines, structuring the different

  • stages of the work undertaken in the area, providing guidance on the best decisions to be taken.

  • Identifies training needs and trains team members in order to generate expected operational results.

  • Presents at trade shows to increase visibility of the organization.

  • Establishes a planned program for sales coaching, working with inside sales representatives on all aspects of the sales process.

  • Makes coaching sales calls with inside sales reps to provide feedback.

  • Establishes clear performance expectations for the insides sales team. Uses standards to assess the behavior, activities and

  • performance of each team member. Provides consistent feedback to motivate team toward improved performance.

  • Analyzes booking/sales/shipment monthly to ensure all orders are met.

  • Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products, and to provide

  • sales support.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are as a minimum you must have:

  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution

  • Requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices

  • University Degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
