About the role
To answer the specific needs of refrigerated transport, Carrier Transicold has designed an innovative web-based telematics solutions. Since all temperature controlled transport requires constant care to ensure the safety and security of the Cold Chain, Carrier has developed innovative communication technologies such as telematics devices that have become highly effective tools to monitor loads both remotely and in real-time.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team in Padborg, Denmark as an Area Sales Manager for our Telematics Solutions. As the Area Sales Manager for Telematic Solutions you will be responsible for the Scandinavian region and you willjoin a dedicated Sales Team engaged in promoting Carrier Transicold’s innovative products and services.
In this role you will strengthen our sales team with expertise in fleet management solutions and technical knowledge about telematics technology. You will look after and develop Carrier's position as one of the market's leading suppliers of refrigerated transport services. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers as well as our service partners which can lead to new growth opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will be:
•Building the relationships with customers on different levels of their organization.
·Train / educate and guide our customers in the use of telematic solutions both prior and after the sale is closed by fully explaining features and benefits of our solutions.
·Generate leads, on telematic and our other product portfolio.
·Train / educate and update the sales team in the use of telematic.
To be successful in this role you need to have:
•Experience preferably in transportation, automotive, truck, tire or forklift industry.
•Knowledge of communication technologies - solid technical understanding and previous experience working within Telematics.
•Relevant experience from sales.
•Fluency in one of the Nordic languages and English.
