- Work closely with the manufacturing plants' Quality team to provide them with the best data from field failures.
- Be responsible for building and supporting analytics for the RLC HVAC business group.
- Be a subject matter expert on data sources and warranty analytics at Carrier.
- Provide data analysis reports to requesters with a full summary identifying top issues
- Present at monthly Quality/Warranty Dashboard Review meetings with customers and management
- Some travel will be required.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in quality/engineering/project roles in companies embracing Lean or Six Sigma principles
- HVAC experience is a plus
- Experience in data analysis and complex data mining from multiple data sources
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, R or Python, IBM SPSS Modeler, IBM SPSS Statistics, SQL Server
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams in root cause analysis
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and proven ability to utilize their advanced capabilities
- Demonstrated success using effective written and verbal communication skills with a history of influencing multiple levels of the organization and a positive interface with customers
- Background or experience in HVAC engineering, warranty analytics preferred
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner across multiple business units to identify the needs of the organization and/or customer, articulate necessary proposals, and see projects through to completion
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations
- Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset
- Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions
- Expert level of analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and assemble the data in both graphic and verbal format so that it is easily understood by the target audience
- Must have fluent skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
