Role Overview
The FP&A Business Partner acts as a key financial co-pilot to the business, driving performance management, planning, and strategic decision-making across Europe.
In this role, you will ensure financial consistency across regions, business units, and functions, while delivering actionable insights to support growth and profitability within a complex matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance Leadership
Partner with leadership, business functions, and the FP&A team to analyze business trends and generate actionable insights
Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support strategic decisions
Lead ad hoc analyses and strategic projects (e.g., alliances, BU initiatives)
Foster an end-to-end mindset within the Business Finance function
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners
Ensure consistency across the matrix organization (country P&L, functions)
2. Performance Management
Coordinate monthly and quarterly finance cycles (actuals analysis, forecasting, business reviews)
Prepare key management reports, including board presentations and supporting analyses
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial information for the European headquarters
Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for Business Units
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the function
3. Technical Standards & Transformation
Contribute to the development of FP&A tools and reporting (BI, dashboards, automation)
Improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization
Support Finance Transformation initiatives in Europe
Profile
Technical & Analytical Skills
Strong expertise in FP&A (planning, forecasting, performance management)
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is a plus
Ability to manage complex datasets and business models
Business & Leadership Skills
Strong passion for business performance and optimization
Ability to operate effectively in a matrix and international environment
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Comfortable working in a fast-changing and evolving environment
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Business Analysis
Experience in international and matrix organizations
Experience in industrial or multi-BU environments is a plus
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, from advanced Excel modeling to impactful PowerPoint presentations
Ability to manage tight deadlines and complex challenges
Soft Skills
High level of integrity and strong ethical standards, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment
Languages
Fluent English required
