About the role
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring uninterrupted material supply to support manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to manage procurement activities, optimize inventory levels, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvements in cost, quality, and delivery performance. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining operational excellence and delivering value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Buyer, you'll be responsible for:
Place purchase orders on time to ensure material availability for production.
Monitor supplier performance, manage shortages, expedite critical materials, and resolve purchase order discrepancies.
Manage inventory levels and maintain exception reports, including pull-in, push-out, and cancellation activities.
Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Phase In/Phase Out projects.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while building strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring supply continuity.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are proactive, results-driven, detail-oriented, and strong problem solvers with excellent communication and collaboration skills. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
4–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
Advanced English communication skills.
Experience working with MRP systems and material planning processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience supporting ECNs, NPI, and Phase In/Phase Out activities.
Knowledge of inventory control and supplier performance management.
Experience identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives.
