As part of Carrier Digital transformation, we are looking for a dynamic individual to work in the Indirect Procurement solutions team within the Digital organization. The individual will be part of the digital initiatives supporting Indirect Procurement function and act as a Digital leader across various systems including SAP Ariba, Fieldglass etc. with a hands-on style in partnership with other teams. The individual should have experience in Indirect Procurement space with SAP Ariba platform implementations including integrations, working across multiple teams in a large multinational corporation or in other complex environments.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as a leader of the Digital Technology team driving digitization of Indirect Procurement function, acting as liaison between corporate and business unit teams and third parties, to orchestrate digital projects that enable the functions.
  • Act as the technical product owner for digital solutions including integrations solutions with the objective of executing projects/ enhancement requisitions to meet the required standard of quality, ensuring business success and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with our software and service suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions and support ongoing operations to ensure enterprise applications are performing as expected and meeting business requirements.
  • Provide expert level configuration and functional knowledge in designing and maintaining our digital solutions
  • Manage Application Management Support as a Lead in Incidents, Change Requests and Service Requests.
  • Conducts and participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
  • Demonstrate creative 'out of the box' thinking to solve difficult problems and champion new technologies to achieve project goals.
  • Independently responsible for technology within his/her area of expertise on multiple projects. Demonstrate mastery across a wide range of technologies and platforms related to software design and development.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with functional leaders and product owners. Uses deep technical and process knowledge to drive engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field with 15+ years of Indirect Procurement leadership experience in Information Technolo.
  • 6+ years’ experience in SAP Ariba Indirect Procurement modules

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in SAP Ariba, Fieldglass and other Indirect Procurement solutions with large global enterprises.
  • Minimum 2 full life cycle global implementations (prior experience defining/implementing worldwide solutions across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment) including hands-on design and configuration.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba SLP module is preferred.
  • Experience with integrations to backend ERPs (SAP ECC, S/4) using CIG
  • Good understanding of overall P2P business processes
  • Designs solution specific to business process outcomes and understands how to develop and integrate a proposed solution into a customer's existing business and technical environment.
  • Broader experience with Global Functions applications is a plus
  • Prior leadership and people management experience, managing medium sized teams
  • Strong Partner team management and stakeholder management
  • Ability to communicate with key business partners clearly and succinctly is essential, including senior executives.
  • Good understanding of system design and business strategy and ability to translate strategy into viable technology solutions.
  • Excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills are essential with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Project Management experience with knowledge in Agile, Waterfall and DevOps methodologies.
  • Demonstrates leadership, collaboration, hands-on approach, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, matrixed company.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with high internal drive with an ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills; able to mediate opposing viewpoints; work well in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working with decision makers in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
