About the role

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead, coach, and develop a team of centrifugal chiller service mechanics and engineers.

-Allocate workforce for maintenance, troubleshooting, overhauls, and emergency service tasks.

-Perform performance reviews, technical competency assessments, and workforce planning.

-Oversee daily operations including job assignment, scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.

-Ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations and internal KPIs.

-Review and approve service reports, commissioning documents, and maintenance records.

-Provide technical guidance on centrifugal chiller systems, including fault diagnostics, teardown/overhaul processes, and optimization.

-Support root-cause analysis and lead resolution of complex or escalated technical issues.

-Conduct service reviews and drive customer satisfaction improvements.

-Manage team budget, cost control, inventory usage, and productivity.

-Ensure accurate service quotations, variation orders, and billing documentation.

-Support revenue growth through service contract renewals, retrofits, and repair/replacement projects.

-Enforce company safety guidelines and regulatory compliance (EH&S).

-Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and audits.

-Ensure timely reporting of incidents and implementation of corrective actions

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in HVAC service, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Proven hands-on experience with centrifugal chiller systems (water‑cooled chillers), including maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauls.

Strong technical expertise in centrifugal chillers, including compressors, lubrication systems, purge systems, controls, and system optimization.

Solid understanding of chiller teardown, overhaul processes, commissioning, and performance testing.

Ability to lead root-cause analysis and resolve complex or escalated technical issues.

Familiar with service documentation, maintenance records, commissioning reports, and technical compliance requirements.

Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams (mechanics and service engineers).

Ability to conduct performance reviews, technical assessments, and skill development planning.

Strong customer-facing skills with experience managing service reviews and long-term customer relationships.

Strong commitment to EH&S, safety leadership, and regulatory compliance.

Ability to support service revenue growth through contract renewals, retrofits, and repair/replacement opportunities.
