Description

Carrier Digital Hub India is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procure to Pay (PTP) Architect to join our Digital ERP Center of Excellence. The PTP Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end Procure-to-Pay solutions in SAP ECC / S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with manufacturing business objectives, global process standards, and scalable delivery models.

Primary Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • PTP Architecture & Strategy
    Define the end-to-end PTP architecture and roadmap across sourcing, procurement, inventory, invoice management, and payments, aligned with SAP global template and manufacturing operating models.

  • Solution Design & Global Standards
    Lead solution design for SAP PTP components (MM, Ariba integration, Supplier Lifecycle, Invoice Management), ensuring harmonized processes, data standards, and integration with Finance, SD, and Manufacturing.

  • Stakeholder Partnership & Governance
    Partner with senior procurement, finance, and supply chain leaders to establish governance, decision frameworks, and design authority, balancing global standardization with local compliance requirements.

  • Program Delivery & GCC Enablement
    Govern large-scale PTP transformations and rollouts, orchestrating onshore–offshore delivery through ERP CoE, ensuring quality, timelines, cost efficiency, and adherence to architectural standards.

  • Compliance, Controls & Risk Management
    Embed internal controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance into PTP processes, closely aligned with GRC, tax, and finance controls.

  • Transformation, Innovation & Capability Building
    Drive continuous improvement through automation, analytics, and innovation (e.g., touchless invoicing, supplier collaboration), while building strong PTP functional and architectural capabilities within the Carrier CoE DHI.

Experience:

  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in information technology and business process leadership with deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (PTP), procurement, supplier management, and finance integration within large enterprise environments.

  • Minimum 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP PTP solution architecture, project delivery, and global rollouts (MM, S/4HANA PTP, Ariba/Central Procurement, Invoice Management), including design governance and production support.

  • Strong results orientation, consistently driving measurable business outcomes, process standardization, cost optimization, and high-performance team delivery. Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Open and able to work in a culturally diverse environment

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Procurement/ SCM  Finance or related field is preferred.
