About the role
We are seeking a HR Ops Data & Technology Lead to join our Global People Services (GPS) organization. This role is critical in shaping how we leverage HR platforms, including ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, and Five9, to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative employee experiences.
Unlike technical build roles, this position focuses on governance, design standards, and enablement, ensuring that system functionality aligns with business priorities and service strategies. You will collaborate with regional GPS teams, and IT delivery partners to translate requirements into platform capabilities, driving automation, AI adoption, and workflow optimization.
This role acts as a strategic advisor and design authority, defining guardrails and principles for global HR technology usage while influencing decisions that impact the employee experience across channels (portal, chat, phone, mobile).
Key Responsibilities:
- Own global design standards, governance frameworks, and platform principles for ServiceNow HRSD and telephony systems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business outcomes.
- Maintain documentation and traceability for audit and compliance purposes.
- Review and guide solution designs from regional teams and vendors to ensure alignment with global strategy.
- Translate HR service strategy and business priorities into platform-level requirements and workflows.
- Define and drive frameworks for automation and AI enablement, including data integrity.
- Partner with HR Operations (GPS), Case Management Leads, and IT delivery teams to ensure technology supports service strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to GPS leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure readiness and adherence to global standards.
- Define KPIs and health metrics for platform effectiveness and scalability.
- Support global change initiatives by establishing adoption principles and success measures.
- Influence stakeholder alignment through clear communication and governance leadership.
Requirements
- Experience with ServiceNow, Five9, and Workday.
- Strong knowledge of automation and AI concepts within HR environments (hands-on build experience not required).
- Strong background in project management and process design within technology-enabled service delivery.
- Ability to translate business requirements into platform functionality without direct configuration or build responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage projects without direct delivery ownership.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance risk, scale, cost, and user impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience defining governance standards or design principles for HR platforms and telephony systems (e.g., Five9, Zoom) within HR organizations.
- Exposure to AI-enabled service tools such as NowAssist, Microsoft ESS, chatbots, or virtual assistants, with an understanding of adoption and governance considerations.
- Experience working in large, global, matrixed organisations.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and audit environments.
