Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist Head of Design Engineering to oversee all engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on engineering matters to higher management.
• Facilitate communication between Design Engineering and other functions/entities to address and resolve any issues that arise.
• Coordinate with Head of Design Engineering to develop and implement strategies for improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support the Engineering Head in managing departmental budgets and resources.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support to Head of Design Engineering, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Job Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a relevant field, including both project management and people management.
• Strong management and organizational skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between management and employees.
• Proficiency in both Thai and English, with strong presentation skills in both languages.
• Ability to listen to and understand the needs and concerns of both management and employees, and to communicate these effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, with an understanding of Japanese and Thai business cultures.
• High level of professionalism and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
