Mentor Business Systems now has an opportunity for a Software Developer in Huddersfield. The main goal of this role is to develop and deliver exceptional software products to our customers, in order to maintain Mentor’s market position as the leading provider of service management software solutions within the security industry..

What will I be doing as a Software Developer?

• Carry out all new and maintenance developments whilst following technical specifications and company coding standards.
• Provide technical back up to the support team for Mentor’s application software and operational environments.
• Perform all pre-build testing and documentation for development work while following version control and issue tracking procedures.
• Take ownership of the development process in all aspects relating to delivering a completed product to the customer on time and within budget.
• To actively demonstrate at all times a professional development acumen producing a software product that fulfils the complete customer requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

• Development experience in a commercial software business following Agile, structured and object orientated software design principles.  Any UI/UX experience would be extremely beneficial.
• Android Studio, Java, Delphi (Delphi v10 Seattle or newer), Visual Studio (C++, C#, .Net).
• Android, Windows 7-10 (32/64 bit), Windows Mobile/Phone/UWP
