The role:

We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect to support the largest and most strategic customers at Carrier. You will play a key role in working within Carrier’s Digital Products, IOT Solution and Managed Services team, focusing on providing high-impact solutions for customers and understanding their requirements.

The Solution Architect will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within Carrier Digital. This role will work on a range of software products, IOT solutions and associated managed services critical to Carrier’s continued business growth. You will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business and technology issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify sales opportunities within the region

• Evaluating customer needs and applying solutions to resolve or improve outcomes 

• Complete detailed assessments of building or a portfolio of buildings involving study of building systems

• Managing bids with a structured bid response, competitive comparison, commercial estimations using pricing tools, identify external vendors needed to execute the solution design, ICT & Cybersecurity technology solutions

• Diagnosing customer concerns, delivering presentations and demonstrations

• Responding to customer technical issues and questions

• Working with the sales organization to identify and close targeted opportunities

• Identifying and documenting future product , solution and services requirements

• Devise clear roadmaps to deliver next-generation technology solutions

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience within a similar position

• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

• Ability to complete detailed assessments of building or a portfolio of buildings involving study of building systems, assets, processes (cybersecurity, maintenance), Edge to cloud integration, 3rd party API Integrations

• Ability to understand customer business needs and convert them into technical deliverables (Value mapping, Return on Investment summary, customer specific value proposition and conceptual/reference architecture to visualise the design, use-cases, designing data and 3rd party integration needs)

• Data driven and consultative mindset

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of building operating technologies such as lighting, energy, HVAC Building Management Systems
