About this role

As a Software Engineer on our cold chain solution platform team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that ensure the integrity and efficiency of temperature-sensitive supply chains. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that address the unique challenges of cold chain logistics, from real-time monitoring to data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write full-stack software solutions to build web UI, middleware, database and CICD pipeline solutions.

• Lead the design and implementation of software solutions in a public cloud environment.

• Work closely with product management to convert requirements to real world solutions.

• Be a technology champion and effectively use new technologies to build cutting edge software products.

• Mentor junior team members.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues.

• Ensure strong commitment to meeting deliverables with a quality product.

• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.

• Be assertive and willing to escalate issues. 

• On-call production support rotation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

• 5+ years of software development experience in C#.

• 2+ years of experience in Angular, React or Vue.JS.

• 2+ years of experience working in relational database systems.

• 2+ years of experience working with solutions deployed to the cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline to computer science, preferred qualification.

• Experience working with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or TFS.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience working with microservices architectures.

• Experience working in a distributed team environment.

• Experience building and supporting a SaaS software platform.

• Active interest in new technologies and emerging engineering practices.

• Experience working with public cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Experience working in cloud-native architectures.

Additional Information: 

This is a hybrid position that requires being in the office three days a week in Beverly, Massachusetts.
