About the Role

We are seeking a Government Relations & Strategic Accounts Manager to build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with UAE government entities. This role focuses on positioning Carrier as a trusted partner and industry leader while driving business development, influencing policy, and enhancing engagement with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account & Business Development

• Implement strategic account plans and business development initiatives to achieve assigned KPIs
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within government sectors
• Support bid development, proposals, and negotiations to secure projects
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive growth

Government Relations & Policy Influence

• Monitor and analyze regulations, legislation, and policy developments
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, permits, and licenses
• Represent the organization at government forums, hearings, and industry events

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Develop strong relationships with government officials, agencies, and key stakeholders
• Strengthen Carrier’s positioning as a trusted partner in the UAE market
• Enhance public perception through active engagement and representation

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with legal, HR, and public affairs teams to align internal policies
• Coordinate responses to government actions and regulatory changes
• Support account management teams in executing business strategies

Team & Account Management Support

• Guide and support account management teams in achieving business objectives
• Assist in planning and executing business development strategies
• Contribute to operational improvements and account management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
• MBA is a plus
• Strong knowledge of UAE market and government sectors
• Understanding of HVAC solutions is an advantage
• 5–10 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Valid UAE driver’s license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
