About the role

As a Sr Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across a growing, multi‑entity business within Carrier. This position offers hands‑on exposure to intercompany accounting, close processes, and cross‑functional collaboration, giving you visibility into how multiple locations and business units operate within a large, global organization. Your work will directly support sound financial decision‑making and enable operational efficiency across ALCS.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr Accounting Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

• Performing intercompany accounting activities for ALCS within the Carrier organization

• Supporting month‑end close and reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results

• Completing account reconciliations and ensuring they meet Carrier quality and internal control standards

• Providing accounting support to finance and field operations teams

• Maintaining accounting standard work documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuity

• Participating in finance and digital technology projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements

• Supporting special ad‑hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics

• 2+ years of experience in Financial Accounting

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal control procedures

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Advanced English proficiency

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with intercompany accounting in a multi‑entity or global environment

• Exposure to ERP systems and finance digital transformation initiatives

• Experience supporting month‑end close in a shared services or corporate accounting setting

• Experience using Power Bi.
