About the role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving cost competitiveness and ensuring supply continuity by working closely with contract manufacturers and commodity managers.

This position focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost analysis, supporting new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing operations. Your impact will be directly reflected in cost savings, pricing accuracy, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Analyzing and validating supplier cost structures to ensure competitive pricing

• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (TOW) activities

• Negotiating with contract manufacturers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms

• Executing sourcing strategies aligned with business and supply chain objectives

• Evaluating supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and reliability

• Managing sourcing activities to support manufacturing continuity

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve supply and cost-related issues

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, proactive, and results-driven, with strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or commodity management

• Experience working with suppliers or contract manufacturers

• Strong experience in cost analysis and price validation

• Advanced English (professional communication and negotiation)

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience in electronics or manufacturing environments (EMS preferred)

• Exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Knowledge of cost breakdown methodologies (should-cost, BOM analysis)

• Experience in supplier development or vendor management

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar)
