The role is part of Carrier Rental Systems(part of the global Carrier Corporation) one of the leading suppliers of temperature control rental equipment in the UK and Ireland. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Managerresponsible for driving sales growth in South UK. The main goal of this role is to develop and deliver sales strategy in the line with business objectives through close cooperation with Sales Director and Sales Team.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the Sales Director is kept up to date with all key sales data.
  • Working with the Sales Director to deliver cultural evolution in line with the “Carrier Way”.
  • Ensuring regular customer contact with Major Accounts.
  • Via the Area Sales Manager securing orders & develop enquiries.
  • Establishing & managing the reporting & administration of all sales related data.
  • Reviewing sales incentive schemes & supporting all the recruitment & retention of the sales team.
  • Collecting & reporting industry knowledge & competitor analysis  
  • Ensuring adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Being fully conversant & compliant with all Environmental Health & Safety procedures.
  • Completing quarterly ethics module as advised by Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO)
  • Complying with all Quality, Environmental Health & Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Cardinal Rules, Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS), & Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE).

What we are looking for

  • Proven sales experience ideally in Construction / Plant hire
  • Previous people management experience
  • Analytical thinking
  • Commercial awareness
  • UK driving license
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Great communication skills
