About the role

To ensure reliable and efficient operation of chiller and HVAC systems by performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and compliance with safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and servicing of chillers, AHUs, and HVAC systems.

• Carry out preventive maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime and improve system efficiency.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.

• Attend breakdown calls and conduct root cause analysis.

• Repair and replace components such as compressors, evaporators, condensers, and controls.

• Perform testing and commissioning of chillers and ensure proper system operation.

• Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation.

• Provide on-site technical support and maintain strong customer relationships with NPS promoter.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors for service activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.

• 5 –7 years of experience in chiller/HVAC service and maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and HVAC systems.

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting chillers and associated equipment.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

• Willingness to travel and attend emergency breakdown calls within Mumbai (all region) & Thane.
